Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a manufacturing company, who supply organic chemistry services to a global market, the company in question are looking for a Mechanical technician.
Job Role:
As a mechanical technician, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site. This particular site is a Highly regulated COMAH site, the company provides some fantastic benefits for an individual and have a development pathway to enhance personal and professional development.
Typical Duties will involve:
- Mechanical preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial environment working on equipment such as gearboxes, pumps, mechanical seals, pipework etc.
- Attending to machinery breakdowns, fault finding processing equipment, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machinery.
- Able to interpret equipment diagrams and drawings.
- General onsite maintenance as and when required.
- Working effectively alone as well as part of a team of engineers onsite following the safe systems of work and attaining all work permits
Desirable experience
- Have to have a relevant mechanical engineering qualification (Minimum level 3)
- Practical experience within a mechanical engineering environment is essential, so apprentice trained is ideal.
- Ideally you would also be trained in MEWP's, Confined spaces, and Abrasive wheels.
- Full driving licence
