Science Technician [SCC Grade 5 - £24,294 - £26,042fte] – 36 hours per week, term time

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, dynamic and enthusiastic person to join our Science team as either a Senior Science Technician or Science Technician, depending upon experience.
A Science Technician would provide a technician service, preparation of practical work and classroom support to the Science Department and a Senior Science Technician would lead all aspects of running the Science Prep Room including supporting with class practical’s and working closely with the Head of Science, to oversee the provision of practical support in the Science Department for staff and pupils at all key stages in the school.
We moved into our new science labs in February 2021. Our labs are spacious, modern and outstanding facilities. We are a school that maximises opportunities for young people to develop academically and socially in an environment that is stimulating, caring and supportive. This was recognised in the Ofsted report in March 2024 where the school was judged to be GOOD.
