Crynodeb
We want to add two more caring and committed professionals to join our large team of support staff in our happy, inclusive and forward thinking school where we are all on a mission to ‘unlock futures.’ As part of our inclusive ethos we have a Focus Provision for children with complex learning, medical and physical needs. We are looking for staff to support children with 1:1 needs. Experience of working with children who have complex learning needs or emotional behavioural needs would be an advantage, although the right candidate is more important.
The successful candidates will:
be passionate about children’s well-being and love working with children
be able to demonstrate patience and remain calm to support dysregulated children
be hard working and flexible
have experience of supporting children on a one to one and/or small group intervention basis
have a proven ability to support pupils to gain better outcomes
be able to engage, motivate and inspire children
have high expectations of both themselves and children, regardless of circumstance
support the care and welfare of children, including toileting and feeding as required.
In return we offer
a nurturing ethos where every child and adult is driven to do their best
an environment where everyone feels welcomed respected, included and valued
enthusiastic and friendly children who are keen to have fun
opportunities for continued professional development and access to regular CPD and Team Meetings
A teaching staff and senior leadership team who recognise the value, impact, importance and welfare of support staff.
Visits to the school are strongly encouraged and warmly welcomed. Please contact the school to arrange a visit.
The Governors and staff of Crocketts Community Primary are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
Applicants for the post will be subject satisfactory clearances including an Enhanced DBS Check.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role
