SENDCo

(special educational needs and disabilities coordinator)

The Governors of Holy Family Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly skilled teacher as SENDCo who:

• Is passionate about children’s wellbeing, especially those who have additional needs.

• Has a proven track record of improving learning and progress for all children.

• Has excellent knowledge of the curriculum and SEND Code of Practice.

• Would provide inspiring leadership for SEND provision across the school.

• Works effectively and supportively with teachers, parents and external agencies.

• Would enhance the Catholic ethos of the school.

Qualifications and training required:

• Qualified teacher status

• Degree

• National Award for SENDCo or a willingness to complete it within 3 years of appointment.
