Summary
Following recent growth in the Sixth Form at Kingswood, we are seeking to expand our Sixth Form team with the new role of Sixth Form Supervisor.
The Sixth Form Supervisor will play a pivotal role in fostering an environment conducive to academic excellence and personal growth for our sixth formers. As the dedicated presence within the Dixon Sixth Form Centre, the postholder will oversee a purposeful and studious atmosphere, guiding students in developing effective independent learning skills, while providing invaluable pastoral and emotional support. The Sixth Form Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Sixth Form team to nurture a warm and inclusive community where every student feels valued, happy and safe, contributing to the organisation of key social events that enrich the sixth form experience.

This new role is a key part of our Sixth Form Strategy, which also includes an expanded Sixth Form team, a recently refurbished Sixth Form café, and an upcoming full refurbishment of the rest of the building for September 2024.
This is a full-time position during term time plus 5 days, and flexibility with hours will be required at key points during the year to support with open days/evenings and events.
