We are seeking an experienced, qualified and inspiring educator to join our HE team as Course Leader for our PGCE/CertEd courses delivered in partnership with University of Brighton. You will be based at East Sussex College, working across campuses in Eastbourne, Lewes and Hastings. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for teaching, assessing, and supporting trainee teachers and staff on a range of teacher training courses.

As Course Leader you will work within the UoB partnership, attending programme meetings, standardization events, and exam boards as required. You will contribute to curriculum development of these courses, developing teacher training qualifications for our existing staff and external students.

You will need to be highly organised and flexible to the needs of your students, who teach in a variety of diverse settings.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher, used to working in an HE in FE environment.
