Summary

Customer Pricing & Data Analyst - Nelson Head Office - Competitive Annual Salary

About the role

You will support the Business Development team with a comprehensive financial support service in order to maximise short and long term growth & profitability.

What you will do:

Information and Data Analysis:

• Create, produce and manage weekly reports based on KPIs and business targets.
• In-depth sales and margin analysis by customer and region.
• Analysis of customer sales to calculate true cost to serve for new and existing customers.

Commercial Input:

• Undertake monthly benchmarking on customer pricing.
• Evaluate, review and audit commercial activities such as new customers, lost customers and sales promotions.
• Support in the review of BDM team results against budget, understanding and challenging the performance of the team.
• Maintain and track customer discounts on a monthly basis.

Stakeholder Support:

• Support the Head of BDM and BDM Controller in identifying opportunities within the customer base.
• Work with the Purchasing Team to track cost prices and expected market movements.
• Provision of financial data and analysis to the wider business.
• Co-ordination of menu changes and seasonal forecasting both with customers and the Wellocks supply chain.

What you will need:

• CIMA (or similar) qualification or currently working towards.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office inc. Excel.
• Strong data interpretation and analytical skills.
• Owner mentality with demonstrated experience of continuous improvement and implementing process change.
• Hands on experience with providing data analysis and insights.
• Excellent and proactive communication skills.
• Experience of working in FMGC, ideally delivered wholesale industry would be advantageous.
