The Opportunity:

The Edinburgh Futures Institute (EFI), a progressive new entity within the University of Edinburgh, is searching for a Deputy Chief Operating Officer to steer the operational and financial strategies of our multidisciplinary institute. The Deputy Chief Operating Officer provides leadership across EFI’s professional shared services priority areas, including facilities management, culture and community support, communications, marketing and events and finance. The post-holder will also be responsible for the continuous development of an ambitious resourcing and sustainability model that supports EFI’s growth ambitions whilst defining a suitable project management methodology that drives surplus generation and impact against a set of ambitious deliverables.
