Summary
Static Maintenance Mechanical Engineer - Leeds - Salary up to £32,000 DOE
CBW has an excellent new opportunity for a static Mechanical maintenance technician to join a leading facilities company. This is covering a commercial site in a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. There is the chance to increase your earnings as there is a lot of available overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services, associated systems, plant and equipment in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures
- On occasion carry out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works
- Assist other skilled trades in carrying out maintenance, repairs, testing, inspection and installation work
- Be able to maintain, service and repair a wide range of the building services including general Electrical services such as lighting and power, Air handling units.
- Manage Plant Rooms, including Steam Pipes.
- Undertake a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance tasks and carry these out to a very high standard
- Carry out training to be able to provide Authorised Person duties
Person Specification:
- Qualified time served engineer with minimum 3 years post apprenticeship experience
- Plantroom, steam, LTHW, chilled water & pipework work repair using with the use of joint techniques such as welding/brazing and crimping (steam experience is essential)
- Experience of working within a health care environment would be advantageous
- Previous experience working within a building services role
- This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check therefore ability to pass is essential.
