Group Service Delivery Manager Required in Crawley, West Sussex
- Pay: £51,252 + Laptop, Phone, Car + industry leading benefits - enquire within
- Hours: 37 hours per week Monday - Friday only. Flexible start and finish times
Our client a large and nationally known public services fleet company are looking for a Group Service Delivery Manager to join their management team to drive productivity and meet budget targets for their Mechanical workshops in Surrey, West Sussex and Kent working closely with the Fleet Workshop Managers on a by site basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Automotive Workshop Management, experience in delivering and improving productivity amongst your workshop mechanical staff and a good handle on health and safety in the workshop and personal training and development.
Some of your day to day duties with our client will include:
- Overseeing the efficient, cost effective and sustainable operation of ALL workshops ; including suppliers, staff and contractors involved in the service, maintenance and repair of our clients operational fleet.
- Managing KPI's and accurate date
- Providing leadership to our clients local workshop teams
- Managing budgets
- Driving productivity
- Promoting and providing a positive team culture throughout the business
Our client believes Empowering and developing staff is vital to ensure resilience, and future proof our service, as an accomplished leader, you will be able to coach and develop your direct reports to reach greater levels of excellence, to meet their targets and gain a feeling of accomplishment.
You will have a demonstrated background in setting and improving processes, recognising and removing barriers and bottlenecks that may hinder your ability to meet our clients service level agreement to their mechanical workshop team.
Technology within the automotive arena is changing at a greater pace now than it has done for generations. As the Group Service Delivery Manager you would be required to maintain a good knowledge of industry and technological innovation, and use the information to inform the strategic direction of the workshops in your remit.
