Pest Control Technician (Sc6)
Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for identifying and eliminating pests, such as insects, rodents, and other unwanted invaders, from residential and commercial properties. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest problems
Determine the type of pest and the extent of the infestation
Develop and implement effective pest control plans
Use appropriate pesticides and other control methods to eliminate pests
Install and maintain pest control equipment and devices
Educate customers on preventative measures to minimize future pest problems
Complete detailed reports and maintain accurate records of treatments and recommendations
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid pest control license or certification
Proven experience in pest control or related field
Knowledge of different types of pests and their behavior
Familiarity with pest control equipment and techniques
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically capable of performing the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 08:00
End Time: 15:30
Pay Per Hour: £19.05
