  • You’ll make sure that your team lives by the values of Scrum, empowering them to become high performing to increase the productivity, transparency, frequency and quality of delivery
  • Hone your project skills as you work with talented people in a collaborative and innovative environment, with access to the bank's Agile community, experts and events

What you'll do

You'll make sure your team understands Agile practices, the Scrum framework and its values, and how to deliver working software to satisfy customers and react to their needs quickly. As such, you’ll transform your team to become self-organising to reduce management overhead costs, and bring it to a high level of Agile maturity.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the process owner for the team, and maintaining the relationship with the project's key stakeholders
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged
  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Encouraging the team to build relationships to promote internal and external communication, improving transparency, and sharing information with all interested parties

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with experience of successful Scrum adoption along with a Scrum Master certification and ideally an SAFe certification. You'll need good knowledge of modern development practices and tools, such as extreme programming, test driven development and continuous integration.

You’ll also need experience and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency.

We'll look to you to demonstrate:

  • A strong understanding Agile and experience of programme and project delivery using Agile principals
  • Experience of changing organisational, team or department mindsets, cultures and structures
  • Strong communication at all levels and excellent stakeholder management
  • Experience of applying empirical process control
  • Good knowledge of automated testing frameworks
  • Experience of working on multi-faceted programmes with excellent attention to detail
