Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Minimum HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
- Strong knowledge of CAD tools
- Good knowledge of general engineering drawing practices
- Incorporated engineer status
- Demonstrable experience in leading a multi-discipline design team
- ICF (Integrated Competency Framework) or are working towards
Role information:
- Liaise with new and existing customers and build relationships to promote further business opportunities
- Resolve technical and delivery issues
- Promote co-operation across design teams
- Advise in selecting the appropriate methods and tools necessary for tasks
- Provide technical assistance to design teams
- Contribute to the preparation and production of drawings in support of design
- Ensure ISO standards and time, cost and quality requirements are met
