We are looking to appoint an ambitious PE teacher, who has a passion for developing their pupil's potential. The ability to teach girls' PE is required. This post is suitable for a teacher that also wants to contribute to the continuing development of the curriculum across all Key Stages and is a team player with a 'can-do' attitude. The right candidate will be an excellent teacher with strong subject knowledge, high expectations and have experience/interest in teaching GCSE PE. This role offers an exciting prospect for a candidate to take full advantage of the unique opportunities that our all-through Academy brings.

In October 2019, Ofsted confirmed SMA as a good school where all pupils, through their hard work and commitment, are able to 'let their light shine'. In Feb 2023, our CSI inspection stated 'The behaviour of pupils is exemplary in lessons and around the school, and strong and positive relationships are evident throughout the school.' We are proud that our pupils are able to learn in an engaging and purposeful environment resulting in strong progress for all. We are now pursuing our mission to embed ourselves as a truly great school at the heart of the community we serve.
