Media Studies and Computing Teacher – Worcester
Start date – September 2024
Hours: Full-time and part-time 0.6 position considered
TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a popular and respected mainstream secondary school based in Worcester. The school is part of a reputable multi academy trust that focuses on helping support all students achieve their goals.
The role starts in September and the school is looking to hold interviews immediately. The successful candidate would be working across Key Stages 3 and 4, teaching Media Studies up to Key Stage 4 and Computing to Key Stage 3.
Your role is to create dynamic and engaging lessons for the schools eager students, provide a positive and safe learning environment, encouraging them to achieve the best of their ability.
There is an opportunity for this to turn into a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Senior Leadership Team and the Head of Department will offer excellent support and will provide an encouraging and supportive environment.

Applicants need to have the following:
• Experience teaching Media Studies up to KS4
• Excellent subject knowledge
• Hard working
• Excellent classroom management
• Great communication skills
• Ability to build good working relationships with staff and students
• Ability to fulfil a full teaching role
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
• QTS or Degree in the relevant subject
