Crynodeb
Bensons for Beds is looking for a new Front End Developer to join our team based remotely. Working on a Full time basis, over a fixed term 6 month contract your role will to be an integral part of our marketing and commercial team.
Who do we want?
- Demonstrate commercial experience.
- 2-year minimum experience as a Front-End Developer
- Experience with Shopify development.
- Proficient understand of web markup – including HTML5, CSS3, etc.
- Proficient in server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS or SASS
- Understanding of client side scripting & JavaScript frameworks including jQuery & React
- Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and API integration.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Proficient in web development processes. (Design, development, testing & deployment)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
So what will you do?
- Use XHTML, CSS & JavaScript to create user friendly web pages and web applications.
- Optimise pages & applications for maximum speed.
- Setup & deployment of A/B & MVT Tests & setup of website tags
- Version control, maintenance of front-end code, management of dev environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to outline project requirements and scope
- Stay up to date on the latest emerging technologies.
