Summary
Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive assessments, either remotely via telephone, or face-to-face, examining and evaluating medical history, smoking status, and demographics, to determine the participants eligibility to have a low-dose CT scan for their chest. Deliver exceptional nursing care, including respiratory assessment and smoking cessation advice. Provide health promotion integral to lung health checks, fostering awareness and prevention. Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns promptly and professionally. Manage patients presenting with red flags or potential medical emergencies with precision and efficiency. Maintain IR(ME)R accreditation for referral to low-dose CT scans. Attain and maintain ARTP accreditation for spirometry where required. Collaborate with TLHC teams as needed, working autonomously to ensure seamless patient care. Complete mandatory trainings as required by the TLHC Programme.
