Summary

Are you passionate about maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces? Landmarc is looking for two dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team!

Contract: 6 months

Hours: 37 per week

Days of Work: Monday to Friday

Location: Nesscliff Camp, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY4 1BH

Pay: £13.50 per hour

*Applicants must hold valid UK driving licence and have means of transport due to rural location of site.

Main Responsibilities

Operate ride-on mowers to maintain large grassy areas

Use pedestrian mowers and push mowers for precise trimming

Operate strimmers for detailed edging and trimming

Perform general grounds maintenance tasks, including weeding, planting, and pruning

Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly

Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and safe systems of work

Maintain records of tasks completed and report any issues

The Ideal Candidate

Demonstrates a strong work ethic and attention to detail

Has a passion for outdoor work and grounds maintenance

Is reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team

Possesses good communication skills

Holds a valid UK driving licence

Required Qualifications:

Ride-on mower qualification

Pedestrian mower qualification

Strimmer qualification
