About the Role

As Senior GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business in achieving the integrated risk, controls and assurance strategy. The role involves leading the implementation of GRC systems and tooling across the Group. Supporting the Technology Product Lead to engage with senior stakeholders and third parties to optimise solution development and implementation ensuring regulatory alignment and fostering a culture of change and continuous improvement.

Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading, Havant, Belfast or Dublin. Must be willing to travel.

Salary: £40,600 - £61,000 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

As a Senior Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) Business Analyst, you will be essential in helping the business achieve its integrated risk, controls, and assurance strategy. You will lead the implementation of GRC systems and tools across the Group. In this role, you will support the Technology Product Lead by engaging with senior stakeholders and third parties to optimise solution development and implementation, ensuring regulatory alignment and fostering a culture of change and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities of this role are:

- Keeping the product backlog prioritised and updated with the most valuable features. Gathering requirements, defining user stories, and refining acceptance criteria regularly.

- Engaging Stakeholders, collecting feedback, validating requirements, and ensuring alignment with business goals. Youll be the main liaison for stakeholders, representing their interests to the development team.

- Acceptance Testing, setting acceptance criteria and participating in testing to meet quality standards. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing and enhancing processes, tools, and practices.

- Conducting regular product demos to stakeholders, showcasing new features, and gathering feedback for iteration and improvement. Leading and configuring GRC system implementations, aligning them with organisational goals and regulatory needs.

- Providing comprehensive training and support, creating materials to help users navigate GRC systems effectively. Working with IT to ensure seamless integration of GRC systems with existing infrastructure, maintaining data integrity and security.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, development teams, and other relevant parties. Experience of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is essential.

- A solid understanding of energy industry trends and customer needs along with experience of gathering and analysing data to identify trends and make informed decisions.

- Project management skills and experience of using agile tools such as Scrum, Kanban, and JIRA.

- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex business processes and systems and knowledge of tools like SQL, Tableau, and Power BI for enhanced decision making and data visualisation.

- Experience in implementing and supporting Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) systems, including Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), compliance management, and audit management platforms. Proficiency in techniques like use case modelling, user stories, and process flow diagrams is desirable.
