We are excited to be advertising for a KS4 Academic Mentor to secure progress for our students through the provision of high-quality mentoring and coaching. This is a critical appointment and would suit a professional who is ambitious for all students and committed to including all. We are looking for someone who can: Develop effective small group mentoring relationships with students identified as needing support (in learning skills, organisation, time-management, revision strategies, emotional/mental health etc.) and devise, implement and evaluate action plans including communication with and referral to outside agencies. Support students identified as at risk of underachieving or showing signs of disengagement or poor attendance. Complete an assessment for each young person requiring support. Help to ensure that the learning environments are successful study spaces. Communicate with parents/carers where appropriate.
