Salary : Grade 6 (£25,979 x 35.61%)The appointment will commence to start as soon as possible. Ynysboeth Community Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspirational Family Engagement Officer to work as a member of our team. The post holder must be willing to work with pupils and families throughout the school. The successful candidate will: • Have excellent communication and inter-personal skills • Have proven experience and ability to establish and foster strong relationships with parents/carers • Undertake formal inspections of school registers and have experience of SIMS • Work closely with external agencies linked to attendance, health and wellbeing and previous experience of working within a school and knowledge of multi-agency working is essential • Have a good understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures • Be committed to our school’s Vision and Values In return, we can offer: • Amazing children, who are enthusiastic and keen learners • A supportive, committed and friendly staff team, leadership, parents and Governing Body • A commitment to staff Continued Professional and Learning Development and wellbeing This role includes attending meetings both with school staff and external agencies regarding the welfare and safeguarding of our pupils, acting as lead professional when required.
