An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Company Secretary Team for a Senior Corporate Governance Officer. If you thrive working with a degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment, then this is the role for you.



We are looking for someone with exceptional organisational skills, high attention to detail and a commitment to making improvements.



As an experienced meeting administrator with a track record of supporting meetings at Board level, you will be part of an experienced and professional Company Secretary Team. You will have exposure to all parts of the organisation, expand your knowledge and be provided with opportunities for development.



This is a challenging role which includes actively contributing to and developing the governance standards we work towards as well as providing meeting support. The successful candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of corporate governance and committee services.





ThepostholderwillworkaspartoftheCompany Secretary Team,ledbythe Company Secretary to establish, develop and maintain arrangements and procedures for thesoundcorporategovernanceoftheTrust.

PredominantlythiswillincludeensuringthattheBoard of Directors, the Board’sCommittees, Council of Governors and other significant groups haverobustadministration in place and thatTrustpolicyandprocedurearefollowedto ensure compliancewiththerespective delegated authorities and termsofreference.

The postholder will alsosupport the Company Secretary Team in the provisionofcompanysecretarialadvice, training andsupportacrosstheTrust.

ThepurposeoftheCompany SecretaryTeam is to advise and support the Chair, Board ofDirectorsand Council of Governorsonallaspectsofregulation,corporategovernanceandeffectivebusiness conductfortheorganisation.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care. The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
