Are you passionate about Food Technology and looking to inspire the next generation of culinary experts and food scientists? Step Teachers are working with a school that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join their dynamic team.

Food Technology Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students of various age groups.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Food Technology curriculum.
  • Foster a stimulating learning environment encouraging student participation and creativity in Food Technology.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Food Technology, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Organise and oversee Food Technology practical sessions, ensuring safety and adherence to health regulations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall Food Technology program.

Food Technology Teacher Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in food technology, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, etc).
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary or post-secondary level is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Food Technology principles, techniques, and current trends.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
