Food Technology Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students of various age groups.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Food Technology curriculum.
- Foster a stimulating learning environment encouraging student participation and creativity in Food Technology.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Food Technology, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Organise and oversee Food Technology practical sessions, ensuring safety and adherence to health regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall Food Technology program.
Food Technology Teacher Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food technology, or a related field.
- Qualified Teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, etc).
- Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary or post-secondary level is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Food Technology principles, techniques, and current trends.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
