We are honest, we have a journey ahead, and we all have a part to play. However, you will be part of a team committed to our patients and people. Our culture journey programme sets out over the next three years what we will do differently to ensure our values and behaviours are embedded at the ward level and Trust level, and if you want to be part of our journey and you feel as though our values and behaviours are something that you can sign up to, then we want to hear from you to embark on our journey for our Broadgreen site.

We would love you to join our dynamic team as Matron within Medicine . We want to drive the best safety culture, you will be part of writing and influencing the nursing voice within LUFT and also influencing patient experience, ensuring the correct pathway for each patient to support and grow the services on the Broadgreen site.

An experienced, motivated, and independently minded clinical manager who is able to act on their own initiative, adopting values led ‘can do’ leadership style within a climate of constant change and uncertainty to develop and together with the hospital leadership team manage the strategic direction, performance, quality, care, and compassion of the nursing service within the services.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services in a way that provides the best healthcare services to the city and improves the quality of care and health outcomes that patients experience.

The Trust runs Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool University Dental Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

It serves a core population of around 630,000 people across Merseyside as well as providing a range of highly specialist services to a catchment area of more than two million people in the North West region and beyond.
