Summary


Inventory Controller, Band 3


Are you keen to be part of a team who provide essential supply and replenishment services to wards and departments ensuring that products are available when needed, and looking to make a difference within the NHS? We have an exciting opportunity to join our team here at Dorset County Hospital.

You will:
• enjoy learning about the type of products used in a hospital environment
• be comfortable working in both clinical and warehouse environments
• manage your time well, prioritising when necessary
• promote and deliver a professional replenishment service, focussed on ensuring product availability and value for money
• be confident engaging with other members of the Trust at all levels


You have:
• excellent communication skills
• an understanding of how product usage can fluctuate depending on the current circumstances
• confidence in dealing with data

To receive inward goods in an accurate and efficient manner and distribute in a timely manner to their point of need within the hospital. Reorder and replenish departmental stocks to agreed levels and to regularly review and update stockholding levels with key staff.
