We are looking for a Reach & Respond Support Assistant to join our Reach & Respond team in Scarborough on a fixed-term basis for 6 months. If you are passionate about supporting our elderly or vulnerable customers, this could be the role for you!
The Reach & Respond service operates on a 24/7 basis and supports nearly 9,000 vulnerable people to remain living independently and safely in their own home.
You will work alongside our strong, supportive admin team which will require you to work as part of a team, be forward thinking, solution focused, and champion the services offered by our Reach & Respond service.
The role involves some of the following key tasks:
Providing support to our team of Responders, ensuring they have all the information required when attending to our customers
Providing general admin support to the Admin team, this will include accurately inputting customer data on our systems, running reports and answering customer and responder calls
Liaising with internal and external agencies to ensure support is provided to customers
Competently using our software packages such as PNC, Service, open accounts and Orchard Housing Management system.
As a Reach & Respond Support Assistant you will be able to work collaboratively with external agencies, using your initiative to build strong relationships across the service area and with partner organisations. We’re looking for someone who can work using their own initiative, is flexible and has strong communication skills.
