About the Curriculum Manager role:
The Academic Studies covers our provision for A Levels, Access to HE, GCSEs, Business and Professional Studies. Reporting to the Faculty Director, the successful candidate will provide strong leadership in curriculum development and design, creating an engaging learning environment aligned with our Learning philosophy. The role will be expected to:

Oversee the implementation, and continuous improvement of the curriculum, in line with our Learning Philosophy and learner journey.
Deliver and report on quality performance targets and student/apprentice outcomes.
Effectively manage the curriculum delivery including oversight of recruitment, enrolment, retention, achievement and success.
Onboard and ensure ongoing development of teachers and assessors to improve team performance and improve teaching, learning and assessment practice, with a corresponding improvement in the student experience and outcomes.

What do you need to be a successful Curriculum Manager at Activate Learning?
As the curriculum manager, you will;

Have proven leadership experience achieved at a Faculty Management level, together with a thorough understanding of what makes for excellent evidence-based teaching, learning and assessment and how to monitor it effectively.
Have a proven track record of driving up standards and outcomes for learners and together with a teaching qualification, will possess highly developed practitioner skills that demonstrate leading-edge practice in the delivery of teaching and learning.
Demonstrate an inspiring and authentic leadership style, with excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Demonstrate the attributes, behaviours and track record fundamental to our Learning Philosophy led culture which puts learners and learning at the heart of the organisation.
