Summary
We are hiring.
Are you a passionate, outgoing and committed person looking to support your local community?
We need people to work with adults 18 and over with learning disabilities
Edward McCarthy Support Services (EMSS) provides support staff on a “one to one” basis and for a charity organisation supporting adults with learning disabilities.
Working hours can part time / full time and will include daytime, evening work and Saturdays, salary of £12.50 per hour.
Car ownership is essential with business insurance needed (mileage will be paid for at 45p per mile) and appropriate expenses are paid.
We provide support to adults over 18 in the West Lancashire area with learning disabilities to access a variety of activities through providing transport to and from their homes and the appropriate support whilst participating in their activities.
Having experience in similar work is preferable and need to be kind-hearted and interested in making a positive difference to people’s lives.
Full induction, training and paid shadowing with an experienced staff member will be provided.
“One to one” work includes visits to the gym, cinema, theatre & days out.
