Summary

Duties include but aren't limited to: Supporting the Patient Services team with patient and clinician queries to ensure the smooth running of the practice. Inducting and training new members of the team. Creating Reception rotas, dealing with annual leave requests. Setting up new starters IT log-in details, pathology, and smartcard card access. Using SystmOne clinical system. You will assist with scheduling training and organising and completing bookings for external training. Assist with reception appraisals, back to work interviews and probation meetings. Ensure appropriate cover across all sites is maintained at all times. Provide regular support to the reception, prescription and scanning / coding as required to ensure adequate cover is provided to ensure the work is completed to the deadlines set. Always maintain confidentiality for patients as well as staff. Ensure CQC compliance for reception staff. The post-holder will support the equality, diversity and rights of patients, carers and colleagues. Communication is key therefore the successful candidate will need recognise and implement the importance of effective communication within the team.
