Summary
Please take the time to read the Job Description and Person Specification attached to this advert The post holder will be required to meet the care needs of orthopaedic patients attending Fracture clinic from a Casting Practitioner perspective. To provide high quality patient focused service for orthopaedic patients, both within the clinic and throughout the hospital as required. To ensure that in your role you are updated with current practices with casting, plastering and orthotics and is able to actively use research as appropriate. To support other services as required, including wards A and E and paediatric patients. Able to deliver a casting training program for the multidisciplinary team with orthopaedics, including students and registered professionals with the trust. Fracture clinic patients often attend with plaster problems. Your role will be to review these problems and change the cast when required
