The role of the shop manager entails several key responsibilities. This individual will be tasked with strategically planning catering services and effectively overseeing the staff. Procurement of necessary supplies will also fall under the manager's purview, either through direct purchasing or delegation. Furthermore, the manager will ensure the accurate preparation of accounts. Vigilance in verifying the quality of food, beverages, and service will be essential, aligning them with established standards. They will also maintain a clean kitchen environment and uphold stringent hygiene standards in accordance with legal mandates.
Collaboration with other staff members is integral, particularly in planning and coordinating food preparation. The manager will organize both waiting and counter staff, ensuring their proper deployment. To prevent waste and financial losses and to adhere to budget constraints, the manager will monitor the appropriate utilization of supplies.
