Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 4 full time Clinical Information Officer within the Emergency Department at Northwick Park Hospital.

The post holder is one of the key members in the ED team; to provide senior administrative support to Data within the Trauma service with the objectives to manage the process and directly submit timely, accurate and reliable data to both outcome registry data set and the internal Trauma registry working on standard operating procedures and to provide reporting and analysis of data as required

This role will be aimed to identify patients admitted with Trauma and to assist clinical staff with audit and review and provide training on the Outcome registry system.

Participating in National Trauma Registry is a pre-requisite of establishing a Major Trauma Network and essential in the financial and clinical governance of the Network. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of data to both the outcome registry data set and the Trust's internal Trauma registry.
