Summary

An exciting opportunity to join our training team has arisen at Achelois Group and as such we are looking to hear from motivated, enthusiastic trainers with a specific skill set to help deliver our training programs.
Our training team is a continuously evolving environment built upon the understanding that good quality training is something people always remember, as well of course as a great quality trainer.
Our trainers are often the first substantial contact individuals have with our business and thus you will help shape our organisation and ensure the safe, structured delivery of the quality standards that we operate to.
Role Overview:
• Carry out the delivery of induction training, mandatory training, and specialist training for all our care and support workers.

Motivating and inspiring learners to achieve and develop their knowledge and skills.

Planning and delivering effective learning activities for diverse groups in a safe and inclusive environment.

Be involved in reviewing, adapting, designing, planning, and implementing training programs in line with regulatory standards in line with the needs of the business.

Provide high quality, engaging and informative training sessions for new and existing staff.

Promoting a variety of learning approaches to suit the needs of the learners and the organisation.

Supporting those learners who may have specific needs and work creatively to overcome any barriers to learning.

Make sound judgements regarding colleague competency and safety in undertaking training and applying learning appropriately.

Demonstrate the required level of knowledge and underpinning values to competently deliver all elements of our training.

To deliver training that is flexible to needs of the businesses across the group.

To ensure training records and compliance records are updated.

The main skills, knowledge and experience required for this role:

Experience in working in a support or care role in healthcare, social care or education.

Hold an accredited training qualification e.g. Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) or equivalent.

Experience in working with or delivering training in the following areas;

Adverse Childhood Experiences

Behaviour Management

Positive Behaviour Support

Or be willing to achieve where required within a specific timescale.

Capacity to work unsupervised and co-operatively with others with the ability to promote and support the effectiveness of our employee learning and development strategies.

Administrative experience

Able to maintain confidentiality and deal with situations in a sensitive manner.

Be positive, resilient and dynamic with excellent training delivery and presentation skills.

Must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
