Summary
Security Officer - Telford Hospital £12.50ph
4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern
Join our team at Telford Hospital and play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and secure environment. We are currently seeking dedicated Security Guards who are not only vigilant in safeguarding the premises but also sensitive to the needs of patients, particularly in understanding mental health and patient welfare.Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the security of the hospital premises, staff, patients, and visitors.- Respond to and manage security incidents and emergencies.- Conduct regular patrols and monitor CCTV systems.- Control access to the facility, ensuring proper visitor screening.- Engage with patients, especially those with mental health challenges, to ensure their safety and well-being.Requirements:
- Valid DS SIA license (mandatory).- Experience in security, preferably in a healthcare setting.- Strong understanding and sensitivity towards mental health issues and patient welfare.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in both team and independent scenarios.- Commitment to a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, which includes night and weekend shifts.Benefits:
