About the role

The insight team\'s purpose is to inspire insight-led proposition decisions by understanding Customers, Colleagues and the markets we operate in better than anyone.

Our key priorities are setting the customer agenda by expertly orchestrating multiple sources of data to identify, size and prioritise customer growth opportunities, frame propositions and measure their success. Robust and agile analytics, research, commercialisation, business partnering, storytelling, curation and redefining insight are our team\'s key jobs

You will be responsible for

  • Analysing data sets of multiple types (research, behavioural, panel, economic) to find insight about our customers, competitors and markets that we can act on. You will be accountable for digesting several sources of information into one cohesive narrative.
  • Using expertise to produce accurate insight which develops and drives action in support of our customer growth strategy within a fast-paced environment. Work on developing story-telling to translate analysis into to business recommendations.
  • Work closely with other Analysts and Insight Partners, alongside key agency partners to devise the best approaches and methods for our analysis.
  • Explaining complex analytics and science approaches clearly so that they are easily understood by non-analysts.
  • Working closely with our Insight team to best communicate insight to stakeholders through inspiring visualisations, impactful storytelling and embedding knowledge.
  • Sourcing data in a timely and accurate manner, building models to prove the value of media contribution for a variety of measurable objectives

You will need

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Skilled in using statistical / data analytics software and data querying languages (Excel and SQL skills are a requirement)
  • Good data visualisation skills are essential, and experience with data visualisation software Tableau would be an advantage
