Summary

A leading provider of specialist children’s services is now looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the team, supporting tailored education experiences for children and young people who thrive best outside of a mainstream setting.

The group strives to support students with complex SEN – including ASC, ADHD, SLC, and SEMH – across the full school age range to reach their potential, with each child benefitting from a personalised learning plan inclusive of and tailored to their individual needs and preferences.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will join a strong MDT that brings together person-centred teaching, intensive support and integrated therapies to foster a safe, fun environment for building lasting positive relationships and achieving success in academics, wellbeing, and independent living.

Initially, you’ll complete a bespoke and fully comprehensive induction programme to introduce you to the group’s model of care, underpinned by trauma-informed practice. After this, you’ll be able to take advantage of further learning and clinical development opportunities (including clinical supervision, peer support, and online courses on-demand) as part of a well-rounded CPD and career progression pathway.

This is a permanent, term-time only position for a paediatrics-trained Occupational Therapist, with the option of full-time or part-time hours.

You will primarily support specialist schools in the Croydon area, but this role will also involve select travel to Kent.

Person specification:

• (Essential) HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
• (Essential) Previous paediatric experience (children and young people with SEN)
• (Essential) Full UK driving licence and access to personal vehicle

Benefits / enhancements include:

• Mileage allowance
• Health and wellbeing benefits, including EAP and cashback healthcare plan
• Further learning and professional development, including support to earn additional qualifications, with an in-house CPD portal in place
• Employee rewards and recognition schemes
• Access to discount schemes for retail, dining, and leisure activities
• And more!
