Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday - 8:30-4:30
We are searching for an experienced and energetic Hand Therapist to join our dedicated team at Medacs Healthcare working within the Hand Therapy team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Working through Medacs Healthcare, you'll play a crucial role in supporting patients in a range of clinical areas.
Working as a Hand Therapist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital you will be working in closed trauma fracture clinics, out-patient clinics and wards - with post-operative and non-operative patients. You will be providing Hand therapy for adults and children with Trauma and acquired conditions - including splinting, exercises, functional rehabilitation, scar and oedema management.

Essential Criteria:
- HCPC registered
- Clinical experience in hand therapy - assessment, splinting and modalities
- Able to clinically reason for simple and more complex trauma and acquired hand and wrist conditions including tendon and nerve repairs, fractures, conditions such as Dupuytren's, OA, wrist pain, De Quervain's.
- Ability to autonomously manage a caseload of adults and paediatric patients as well as support junior therapists with clinical reasoning and treatment planning
- Experience in interpreting hand and wrist X-rays
Desirable:
- Have worked in UK NHS system in a Hand Therapy at Band 6 level
