Summary
We are excited to announce that we are currently hiring for the position of Strapper at our Ellesmere Port location.
Working Hours and Payment:
Monday - Friday
6:00AM - 3:30PM or 3:00PM - 11:00PM or 10:00PM - 6:00AM
£11.52 per hour
Overtime on Sunday - 6:00AM - 6:00PM or 6:00PM - 6:00AM - pay £ 23.04 per hour
As a Strapped, your main responsibility will be to secure and bundle products for shipment, ensuring that they are properly packaged and ready for transportation. We are looking for individuals who have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure and bundle products for shipment according to company guidelines.
- Inspect products to ensure they are properly packaged and labeled.
- Use strapping equipment and tools to secure products effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Strapper or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory, as we provide full training.
- Flexibility in terms of working hours and shifts is important.
- Strong attention to detail is crucial to ensure accurate packaging and labeling.
- Excellent time management skills are necessary to meet shipment deadlines.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Physical fitness is important as the role may involve lifting and moving heavy objects when necessary.
