TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery based in the Wirral area. The nursery provides exceptional care to all 75+ children who attend their setting. All staff are trained highly in the EYFS and safeguarding, to ensure that children are best supported when they attend the setting. The setting provides many learning opportunities throughout their days, to assist with developing their pre-existing and newly developed skills. Enriching activities are also available for children to partake in, with a special focus on interest-led learning.
The nursery is looking for an Early Years Assistant to join their team. They will do daily bookings on a week-by-week basis to start, which could then progress to longer-term placements, or even a permanent role, for the correct Early Years Assistant. You will report to the management team and in room leaders, and have support from fellow practitioners. You will gain experience across all rooms, working with children from 6 months to 5 years old and show a flexible approach to learning.
As an Early Years Assistant, you will:
- Be eager to learn and gain knowledge of the EYFS and Early Years Sector
- Be open to doing training to expand all skills and knowledge on the job
- Have a caring and positive approach to working in the early years
