Summary

Calling all TEACHERS!

I am recruiting for FULLY QUALIFIED TEACHERS to join a Special Educational Needs school based in Headington, Oxfordshire. (OX4).

The school caters for students with autism and complex learning needs, associated with physical disabilities.

Within this role, as a teacher, you will be working alongside specialist practitioners in the school, such as occupational therapists, speech and language specialists, rehabilitation support and also support workers.

As the school does not group students based in their age ranges like a Mainstream school does, the students are placed in designated classes based on their needs. This ensures that every child's needs are being met and they are being taught and cared for in a specialist way that is tailored to them, to allow the students their full potential and achieve their best.

For this reason, having a specialist subject, is not necessary.

All students will be working at primary level, so we welcome teacher from both SEN and Mainstream backgrounds.

To be short-listed for this position, you must have:
- Have QTS status.
- Experience working and teaching within a school setting (SEN or/and Mainstream)
- Be passionate about education.
- Confident and resilient.
- Capable of planning and preparing work for your classes.
- Available 5 days a week.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ's on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
