Summary

We are recruiting for SEND Teaching Assistants for an all-through SEND school in Sevenoaks, catering to a range of needs, from early years to further education, for children with severe learning difficulties and complex needs.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Prior experience within an SEND setting or a passion for working with young people.
- A DBS on the update service (Engage can assist with this during the application).
The Needs of the Children Include:
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Personal Care
- Manual Handling
- Hoisting
- PEG Feeding
- Medication Administration
- Restraint Training
Candidates with backgrounds as healthcare assistants or care workers are also welcome to apply.
