Summary

The successful candidate will lead the team with passion and drive to develop and implement the new and existing product development process – the candidate will be fully responsible of the any new product from concept to launch, commercial success of new and existing products, also having the exciting opportunity to develop recipes, packaging and factory trails.

This opportunity comes with a lot of responsibility including:

- Overseeing identification, development and onboarding of new products.

- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends to drive sales and unmet needs in the market.

- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source ingredients meeting company high standards.

- Develop and maintain projects, project timelines, analysis market trends, budgets, milestones and all NPD initiatives – ensures projects are completed by deadlines also determine key priority projects (6/12/18/24 month plans).

- Communicating new product introduction and is fully managed/supports by the relevant teams.

- Conducting product evaluations, onboarding, deliver product knowledge into both sales and services teams then ongoing assessment into support requirements and procedures.

- Attending regular meetings with will include you presenting, holding sharing sessions with colleagues, peers and clients.

In addition to these functions you are required to carry out other duties as may reasonably be required according to the needs of the business.

To qualify to apply for this role the candidate must have the following:

Ÿ Bachelor’s degree in food science, Culinary Arts, Food Engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.

Ÿ Proven experience in new product development within the food industry, preferably in bakery or pastry products.

Ÿ Strong knowledge of bakery ingredients, formulations, and production processes.

Ÿ Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ÿ Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for market trends.

Ÿ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ÿ Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and food safety.
