Summary

Proposed plan of programmed activities (PAs): 3.25 clinics per week 6.5 (including admin) Child protection on call 1.0 (plus 6-7 week-ends per year) Supporting professional activities 1.5 - 2.5 Specialist role (if desired) 1.0 Essential Applicants should possess or be within 6 months of receiving a CCT in Paediatrics. UK recognised medical degree Full GMC Registration GMC Specialist Registration Membership of RCPCH Level 3 training and experience in Safeguarding Children Excellent team-working, leadership, organisational and time management skills. Excellent paediatric clinical experience and skills Leadership, teamworking and organisation skills Desirable CCT in Community Child Health Formal training in Standardised Autism Assessments Training in a standardised formal developmental assessments Experience in the assessment, diagnosis and management of ADHD Experience of Child Protection assessments, Initial Health Assessments for Looked After Children, advising the LA regarding Special Educational Needs An area of special interest eg neurodevelopmental paediatrics, safeguarding Experience leading projects, audit and Quality Improvement Experience in teaching and training Published research in Community Paediatrics For a full list of requirements, please see the attached job description.
