Summary
You will work as part of the general practice team to process prescriptions and provide medicines management advice to GPs, nurses, paramedics, community pharmacists, care coordinator team, and patients. You will be working with the EMIS system to support in the management of the repeat prescribing process, helping to manage repeat prescription requests, resolving queries, and producing prescriptions for clinical review and signature. You will also ensure that appropriate monitoring tests are in place and promote and implement electronic repeat dispensing in appropriate patients. You will be assisting our pharmacist technician with administration and sourcing of an alternative medication where supply issues arise. You will promote the safe, effective, and high-quality cost-effective use of medicines in all prescribing decisions.
