Summary

You will support the programme manager to manage the team’s day to day and planned works ensuring it is delivered to a high level of standard, and to the customers’ satisfaction.

You will inspire your team to be the best they can be. Responsible for resource planning and managing and developing the team on a day-to-day basis, you will inspire and motivate the delivery of great services and support for customers and colleagues. You will lead the team and conduct 1-2-1’s to develop skills within the team.

Your role will be to take full responsibility for van and equipment procurement, ensuring that each colleague has the correct tools to deliver their work efficiently and to a high standard. You will be responsible for conducting routine inspections and audits of the service ensuring your team follow health and safety regulations through their work, never compromising the customer or colleagues. You will inspect and audit vans, sites, fire extinguishers and carry out PPE checks.

You will create close working relationships with neighbourhood coaches and materials suppliers to create the right relationship with our customers and to resolve any concerns quickly.

You will need a continuous improvement mindset with good communications skills and a flexible, positive attitude. You will have the ability to learn from experience when things do not always go to plan and work to overcome challenges you might sometimes face.

To be successful in this role you will need:

Experience within a similar role
Ideally, hold an NPTC qualification in brush cutter, pedestrian mower, ride on mower, hedge cutter and PA1 and PA6 in spraying pesticides
Have a good understanding of and adhere to health and safety, COSHH requirements
Possess a full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
Build effective relationships based on trust and respect and be a great ambassador for Bromford
