We are excited to announce an opening for an Accounting Coordinator (12month Maternity Cover) within our Contact Centre section of our ARMS® Business Services division in Aldershot Hampshire.

The role will provide an excellent opportunity for someone to take their first step on the Business Management career path and gain exposure to many of our business lines including, Insurance & Credit Hire, Credit Repair, Damage Recovery, Vehicle Repair, Contact Centre, Outsourcing as well as our Technology Companies under the new Entegral brand.

These are exciting times to join the team as we continue to look at opportunities for improvement, collaborating with the UK Rental Groups, the Corporate Offices (UK, EU, St Louis), external vendors, insurance partners and our Vehicle Repair Network, as well as how best to integrate other lines of business including Flex E, Enterprise Car Club and the Technology Companies into our operations. This role will focus supporting our Enterprise Repair Services business.

The primary responsibility of the role will be to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with all company policies and support all key initiatives of each business. We are looking for somebody with an inquisitive mind, looking for opportunities to help drive the overall business forward with a willingness to ‘think outside the box’ and question current business practices.

In this role you will be enrolled on our Business Management development plan which encompasses all elements of the business management role, setting you up for future development and future opportunities not only within Arms Business Services (ABS) but other Business Management roles across the UK. Alongside this, Enterprise will support study support towards either ACCA or CIMA on your quest to become a Chartered Accountant.

ARMS® Business Services is the division of our business that encompasses Entegral , the Damage Recovery Unit, Vehicle Repair, Enterprise Repair Services, Risk Management Services and ARMS® Claims Services. ABOUT THE LOCATION

This role will be based in Aldershot, Hampshire. This position will be office based with the potential to work hybrid twice a week.

SALARY / HOURS

£25,000.00 per year based on 40hrs per week Monday- Friday 8:00- 17:00.

Responsibilities
  • Working with a variety of departments within our Contact Centre
  • Exposure to different costings methods, including transactional costing
  • Building relationships with a wide variety of departments to build new processes and efficiencies to reduce costs to the rental groups.
  • Using analytical skills to help create Management Information for departments to provide insight into different aspects of their business such as outsource costs.
  • Financial statement and balance sheet schedule reconciliation and investigation as required
  • Upholding fiduciary responsibility by providing accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Maintaining an environment of strong internal controls by operating within applicable laws, corporate and group policies
  • Maintain a culture of ethical practice that demonstrates Enterprise core values

Qualifications
  • Ability to manage a broad diverse workload and prioritisation skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Strong commercial sense and ability to think analytically
  • Ability to organise and present information, views and concepts in a concise and understandable format for a variety of audiences
  • Highly energetic, highly motivated, and detail orientated
  • Intermediate / Advanced PC skills, particularly Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Microsoft Access a plus
  • Accounting / Finance / or Business-related degree, preferred
  • ACCA, CIMA, AAT accreditation preferred or proven commitment to complete
  • Commitment to the Business Management Career Path, with the willingness to relocate for future opportunities
  • A commitment to enforce the company’s Business Ethics program and uphold high ethics standards
