Job objectives and responsibilities
· To deliver maintenance tasks, undertaking planned, reactive and emergency work in accordance with statutory regulations, schedules and relevant standards to ensure that all buildings and facilities are maintained appropriately.
· To support the FM team in carrying out other tasks as required by the Maintenance Supervisor to include escorting sub-contractors.
Main duties and accountabilities
· Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance in accordance with contractual obligations.
· Comply with company safe systems of work which follow statutory obligations and QHSE requirements.
· Comply with timescales in accordance with contractual obligations for the rectification of damage and defects.
· Update the company maintenance management system on completion of works ensuring information is accurate.
· Complete all appropriate documentation ensuring it is accurate, complete, current and accessible.
· Work with sub-contractors ensuring legislative, company and contractual standards are adhered to.
· Maintain tools and equipment, and carry out daily tool checks.
· Use, handle, transport and store equipment and materials securely and correctly at all times to ensure a safe and secure environment.
· Undertake emergency out of hours call outs as required to maintain the centre facilities.
· Required to be on emergency out of hours call outs between (included in salary) 17:00 - 07:00 for 7 days, once every 12 weeks.
· After being on emergency out of hours call out for 7 days, you will be entitled to take off 2 ‘Rest Days' as well as the Saturday and Sunday of the following week.
· Notify relevant staff of stock levels so that the availability of materials is maintained.
· Undertake all notifications of change to the establishment ensuring compliance with the relevant standards.
Person Specification
· The ideal candidate should have a good overall knowledge of general maintenance duties.
· The candidate should have previous relevant experience of this role and will be flexible to work within a shift and callout roster.
