Summary

An enthusiastic and self-motivated person is required to assist in the day-to-day maintenance of cycle hubs/hangars and the installation and maintenance of ANPR cameras.
The post holder will assist a team in the management of the cycle hubs/hangars throughout the borough and assist with the installation and maintenance of the ANPR enforcement cameras around the borough. Experience camera installations/maintenance, carrying out site inspections and carrying out and organising repairs. Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items and an ability to use various power tools, welding equipment on site and be aware of Health and Safety and legislation with this equipment.
Good communication skills are necessary to deal with contractors, the public face to face, emergency services, council groups and outside agencies. You should be competent in the use of IT equipment and be familiar with permit application systems and a range of software applications. Have a logical outlook, be able to work out on site by yourself, use your initiative and be part of a busy team working in the office.
The post holder will be required to work out on site on a regular basis and therefore a clean valid driving licence is required.
