Purovets is excited to offer a wonderful opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a RCVS-accredited small animal practice in a stunning coastal town in Essex. Surrounded by beautiful villages, local amenities such as restaurants and shops, and a picturesque beachfront, this location is highly sought after. There is plenty to do and see, and the area is easily accessible from surrounding locations such as Colchester, just 20 minutes away, with regular train connections to London taking approximately 1.5 hours.
Our client has been a cornerstone of the community since 1958, a time when consultation fees were only 50p and water was supplied to the practice in tins. While much has changed over the decades, the ethos of providing supportive, compassionate care for clients and patients has remained steadfast.
You will be joining a full-time team comprising Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Nurses, Animal Care Assistants, and Receptionists. The team and management are known for their supportive environment, something they take great pride in. The practice embraces new ideas and supports professional growth, making it a proud training practice for Veterinary Nurses. Regular social gatherings, both in and out of work, are a testament to the close-knit community.

The Rota:
• Full time role - 4/5 days per week
• 1:3 Saturdays
• No OOH
• There will be 1 or more operation days per week
• Minimum 15-Minute Consults, longer ones can be scheduled
