SEN Teaching Assistant required for September 2024!

If yes, look no further as we have an opportunity for you.

We are working with a fanastic SEN School in North Liverpool who are looking for a passionate, empathetic and hardworking SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in the new academic year. This School aims to provide pupils with a calm, pastoral and nurturing learning environment. The School caters for KS3-5 pupils with a range of needs including Autism, PMLD and SLD.

The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting pupils who have individual ECH Plans and will be able to build relationships and provide emotional support as well as academic.

This role is a temp to perm postition and will commence on the 2nd September. There will be an opportunity to go into School during the last half term to meet with the staff and pupils. There are 7 pupils in the class with 3 other TA's.

Connex will provide you with online CPD and we can also offer Teaching Assistant Qualifications alongside working.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Providing personalised 1:1 support to pupils, tailoring your approach to their unique needs.
- Facilitating engaging and interactive learning experiences for small groups of pupils.
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to create a holistic and effective support system.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with complex needs either in a School or a residential setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
